I am attempting to upgrade Potato to Woody via the official i386 CDs. In accordance with the release notes, I used dselect but at the Install stage I received:
"E: Internal Error, Couldn't configure a pre-depends" As a workround I tried: apt-get install dpkg apt debconf but received the same error message. Please help! Robert A.
