The situation you describe is normaly not possible. I looked after that code and IMHO it can only happen if: - DHCP was successful and you have shutdown the interface manually - DHCP was not sucessful but Pump returned sucessful exit code. In this case please try to run pump manually in the similar environment and forward this bug report to the pump package.
