I installed Debian ok myself. But I read alot of discouraging remarks on Debian pages about how even the Debian group knows that it is not easy for newbies. The oinly reason I am running it now is because I have had prior experience with linux. But I would not recommend it to anyone who was not already well versed with computers and was 'looking for something else'. The fact that I had to get a separate cd just to make my xfs filesystem, speaks for itself.
I was really pleasntly surprised when I used MSC Linux's webmin setup. I don't know of too many people that have to be taught how to use a browser! The only reason why I did not continue to use it was because of hardware issues. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
