dbootstrap/net-fetch.c gives no choice of kernel when fetching the
kernel from the network (http/ftp).
It unconditionally fetches a 2.2 kernel. Many recent computers _require_
a 2.4 kernel.

It fetches the same kernel you have choosen to run with the installer.

That is why you should RTFM and _choose_ the 2.4 kernel.
