Installing the lastest version of SYSLINUX ( V.2.05 ) with the -s option solves the problem. The kernel and initrd loades correctly at the cost of speed. The additional time required to load the system is approx. 20-30 seconds ( meassured against similar system with original boot loader ).
The only modification to the boot disk was running syslinux on the floppy disk after the disk image was written to the disk. Note: Only installing a newer version of syslinux has not been tested. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
