I have the same problem. Using BussCard-ISO date Sep17 from http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/netinst/i386/
Editting /usr/share/partitioner/common.sh and adding "> dev/tty" is working.
Testing this on a VMWare 3.0 machine.
