Package: autopartkit Version: 0.60 Severity: normal File: autopartkit I'm not too familiar with arcane packaging rules, but here's what happened.
The builddeps complained that it the dependency for libdebconfclient-dev (>= 0.43) was unsatisfied. I tried apt-get install libdebconfclient-dev, it said this was a virtual package and I should instead pick libdebconfclient0-dev 0.47. I said apt-get install libdebconfclient0-dev and it said the current installed version was the most current (0.47). I then tried make again, and it again complained that it needed libdebconfclient-dev (>= 0.43). I think the issue is that a version > 0.43 has been specified on a virtual package, which really has no version number. When I substituted libdebconfclient0-dev (>= 0.43) in the control file, it went ahead and I got the missing configure file bug which had already been reported.
