Package: grub-installer

Im trying the manual partitioner of "Skolelinux", profile "standalone".
I Choose Norewgian "bokml" as language
I created a small / (128Mb)
and the rest as LVM (hda5 as vg_laptop)
then I created
/dev/vg_laptop/lv_usr (1024Mb)
/dev/vg_laptop/lv_var (256Mb)
/dev/vg_laptop/lv_swap (256MB)

when I come down to installing grub, I get that grub-installer fails.

looks much like #187135
