Well, either pump-udeb should be dropped altogether, or someone should build a libpopt0 udeb. Last I heard debian-boot is now converging on dhcp-client/udhcp so I presume pump-udeb isn't needed anymore. So unless I hear otherwise, pump-udeb will be removed in the next release.
