When I try a manual install with the 'cdrom' driver it does not work. I have an IDE cdrom-drive that normally is installed on /dev/hdc. Currently the machine holds a Debian testing system and the cd-rom device is detected as Toshiba XM-1702BC, ATAPI. An lsmod in VC2 shows ide-cd.
