The lvmcfg script depends on find-partitions to get a list of partition where is possibile to build a volume group. find-partition as changed is output in a (recent ?) update and now it doesn't report the type of partitions but the filesystem type. For that reason lvmcfg is completely inusable.
I hope this will be fixed soon, at least before the next beta of the debian installer. If someone suggest me the right way to fix the problem i can try to submit a patch.
