The submitter did not reply to my call for further information, and this is something affecting the potato or woody boot-floppies and 2.2 kernels anyway. I asked for feedback on this one on october 6, more than two month ago, and got no replies except spams. Let's close this, and be reopened if the problem happens again with the new debian-installers.
