Instead of
eth0: Ethernet or Fast Ethernet
eth1: Ethernet or Fast Ethernet
I'd like to see something like:
eth0: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT6102
eth1: 3Com Corporation 3c905 100BaseTX
or perhaps better:
eth0: Ethernet (VIA Technologies, Inc. VT6102)
eth1: Ethernet (3Com Corporation 3c905 100BaseTX)
("Ethernet or Fast Ethernet" is not accurate anymore anyway since it
ight be "Gigabit Ethernet"; just "Ethernet" plus the name from lspci
is much more sensible if someone has more than one NIC.)
