I forgot; the file I need was renamed to /var/log/base-config.log
Hi,
Out of curiosity, how do you use/read this file ?
This file is a log, taken with 'script' of everything that appeared on the screen during the base-config run. There is an accompnying file, base-config.log.timings, that can be used along with the replay command to replay a base-config run much as it looked in real time. If you don't have that, you generally read through it with some awareness of the linux console's escape sequences. :-)
Thanks for the info. I didn't know this script replay feature.
Btw no need to cc me when I post to Debian-lists ... (cf http://www.debian.org/MailingLists/ ;-)
