(It is a SCSI CD.) I selected to 'perform manual CD-ROM configuration?', then 'select from list', then I got a list of device name. I did try both 'cdrom' and 'none' without being lucky. I then went gack to the original message screen (perform manual CD-ROM configuration?) but every time I press 'no' it keep reasking the question. Selecting Yes, and then No at the next question got me to the main menu. I then selected 'load installer modules' from main menu, and d-i found a (correct) list of modules needed for this hardware. It said that the list could be loaded and then it showed me again the message about the probing of CDROM. summary: cannot mount cdrom, cannot load installer modules :-( Bye, Giuseppe -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux casa 2.4.23-xfs #1 SMP Sun Jan 4 17:49:41 CET 2004 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
