Hi, I have the same problem but with a ASUS A7N8X. The problem is that my chipset is nvidia and the ethernet conection nvnet is not soported by Linux directly, I need to compile the nvidia driver. The other ethernet is the 3Com 3C920B-EMB which I don't know if it is or not supported by Linux.
