Package: debian-installer Severity: normal Tags: sarge sid d-i debian-installer does not prompt for terminal type when installing from a serial console, and apparently assumes an 80x24 color ansi termianl. While only the size is incorrect in the cases I have tested, (it looks a bit stupid to only use a small portion of the screen) this assumption could make d-i unusable on some systems.
Serial consoles are not uncommon on sparc systems. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: sparc (sparc64) Kernel: Linux 2.4.21 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
