Package: install Version: http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sarge_d-i/i386/current/sarge-i386-netinst.iso (13 Feb 2004) Severity: normal Followup-For: Bug #232578
I believe that this is the same as #229756. There is part of that bug report dated: > Date: Sat, 31 Jan 2004 02:26:30 +0100 which indicates that the bug has been fixed. Buuuuutt ... I've just downloaded http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sarge_d-i/i386/current/sarge-i386-netinst.iso which is timestamped 13 Feb 2004 (i.e. enough time since the apparent fix to be in the image I'm using I assume), and the bug is present. My guess is that the fixer assumed that there was only one occurrence of 'sleep 1' to be fixed, and maybe didn't actually test, 'cos there are two. One, is in /usr/sbin/debootstrap, which now as '|| true' appended to it to prevent debootstrap bombing out if sleep wasn't found, but there is another in a script sourced by debootstrap, and that is in /usr/lib/debootstrap/functions.
