Method: I downloaded the big installer iso ( the net one). Inserted the CD into the laptop, reboot with the key "c" preset and the installer run.
Machine: Apple iBook G4 14" Processor: PowerPC 933 Mhz
Memory: 256 Mb RAM
Root Device: UltraATA ( IDE ?) ( the only one)
Root Size/partition table: hda4 -- yaboot
hda5 -- root
hda6 -- swap

I am sorry, I can't give more inforation because I am not in that machine.
I am having problems with the XFree86, but that is not installer chores.
I must say I found the installer process very easy and it worket at the first
