Package: discover Version: 1.5-2 Hello,
I have an onboard Davicom Ethernet controller, that normally should be driven via dmfe but discover misdetects it as to be driven via tulip. This works in general but results in massive network performance loss (tulip rx/tx 700Kbit/25Mbit vs. dmfe rx/tx 95Mbit/90Mbit). When I load the dmfe driver before discover starts, everything works well and fast. smallside:~# lspci 00:0b.0 Ethernet controller: Davicom Semiconductor, Inc.
