In the new partitioning tool, when one is editing the properties of a partition, I think you should be able to see which partition you are editing. (Like a menu header). This is a User Interface thingy to prevent mistakes. Since this type of operation can be very damaging I suggest that this not be put down as 'wishlist' but as 'Minor Bug'.
