I've done the install twice (just for fun) and tried to accept all the defaults (except for loading additional drivers, and setting up the partition table), just to see what happened. The original boot to: vmlinuz-2.4.25-1-386 Was fine. I also grabbed: vmlinuz-2.6.3-1-686-smp and had no problems booting.
