It doesn't give a useful error message when the proxy details are wrong, and there doesn't appear to be any way to change them without rebooting. As I didn't know whether it was a DNS, authentication, syntax or some other error, I gave up and used the 100MB netinst CD instead. The machine doesn't automatically reboot (sits there with a blank screen), but I don't know whether the previous Windows installation was able to reboot either. When selecting a country, please list the United Kingdom under "United Kingdom". The full name of the country is "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland", shortened to "United Kingdom" and abbreviated to UK. If you must use "Great Britain", please include the "Great".
