okay, I guess I did not read the bug again, before posting it. okay - here's how I did solve this problem I first I fixed /etc/fstab then I created the symlink in /dev (on the installer image) then I unmounted /target (it was still on /dev/rd/disc0/part1) then I mounted /dev/rd/c0d0p1 on /target (/dev/rd/c0d0p1 is a symlink to /dev/rd/disc0/part1) then both the installation of the kernel, and the installation of grub went on without a hitch. > I've reverted to using 3.0r2 installer right now (must install the > server this evening), but I'll try again on an equivalent hw if the > problem get corrected. The main problem as i see it, about the DAC960 is that it is more or less useless if you have more than 1GB memory. It's absolutly useless if you have more than 4 GB -- Finn-Arne Johansen [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://bzz.no/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
