Package: debian-installer Severity: minor I had already partitioned the disk I wanted to install debian on, and given them the appropriate types (linux, linux swap), so I pretty much just needed to tell debian-installer what to put on those partitions. When I selected the swap partition and was given the choice of doing stuff to it, the choices seemed to be limited to either put a filesystem (like ext2) on it, or leave it alone, there was no obvious choice of mkswap-ing it.
