I'm an idiot.
it was asking for a _device_ not a drive. I was thinking it knows where the cd is
now; what is the problem? I am not the only one who got confused however...
Tools I'd like:
- to confidently use someone elses config file and know how that affects the install
process and visa versa. Advice on the web is lots to do with editing these things,
and I suspect I have created a bowl of spagetti.
- a way of seeing what modules are on the cd(s)
- how about a test routine for mice? - prints out xy cordinates of the cursor if
your X11 config stuf is going to work with the hardware you've got
