Correction, in packages, but sure "apt-get source <package>" can also get the files. The current work by Seppy and me (but mostly seppy....he is the one doing the dirty and time consuming work) aims at narrowing the scope of "second stage"..... As a side effect, automatically grabbing the POT files will probably be easier (not *that* easy.....some package do noteven have the POT files packaged in the sources. This file is cleaned by "make clean") Up to now we were in the process of identifying the needed method, package per package. Seppy/Dennis Stampfer now has the needed information and will make the changes to the status page.
