Hello, The oldworld floppies from 16/04 indeed fix the "no console shown" problem, wonderful!
However, I still had the problem with the root floppy not being read. I was now trying BootX booting and even for the HDD, I get sector errors. 2.2.20 from woody is fine. The relevant portion shows some interrupt problems (manually typed, thus probably not an exact copy): Uniform Mulit-Platform E-IDE driver Revision: 7.00beta4-2.4 ide: Assuming 33MHz system bus speed for PIO modes; override with idebus=xx ide0: Found Apple OHare ATA controller, bus ID 0 ide1: Found Apple OHare ATA controller, bus ID 1 Probing IDE interface ide0... hda: QUANTUM FIREBALL_TM2100A, ATA DISK drive Unhandled interrupt d, disabled (then ide1 with unhandled interrupt e) ide0 at 0xc3816000-0xc3816007,0xc3816160 on irq 13 ide1 at 0xc381a000-0xc381a007,0xc381a160 on irq 14 Partition check: hda:end_request: I/O error, dev 03:00 (hda), sector 0 end_request: I/O error, dev 03:00 (hda), sector 2 (then again, sector 4, sector 6, afain sector 0,2,4,6) unable to read partition table Maybe DMA should be switched off? (that's what I would try next on x86, however I assume new floppy images would have to be built) Have fun at the remaining BSP, -Malte -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
