I think this would be chapter 5 of the manual. Currently there are no specific instructions for ia64. (http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/en.ia64/ch05.html currently only has the general paragraphs.) So we would need to add a new file in SVN in this directory: debian-installer/installer/doc/manual/en/boot-installer Some additional modifications are needed to have this new file actually included... Maybe the best thing would be to send an unformatted text to me or Miroslav Kure. We'll make sure it is formatted and added in the right place(s).
