Yes, the old version of Gnome I had was running on completely another machine (originally a Morse, I think with ATI, then on a Dell GX1 with an ATI card. Oh and before that on a ThinkPad 600E). Also X in general works fine, it's only when I mess with Gnome apps that I've experienced problems. But of course it could me a union of several factors (Gnome, Sawfish, some particular Gnome applet perhaps) and for the time being I guess I'll just have to work around it as best I can. I'm just wondering if others are seeing this, and in that case, whether Gnome is suitable for inclusion in the next stable release. /* era */ -- formail -s procmail <http://www.iki.fi/era/spam/ >http://www.euro.cauce.org/ cat | more | cat<http://www.iki.fi/era/unix/award.html>http://www.debian.org/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
