retitle 247960 CD cache should be deactivated thanks Ok, it didn't work because my CD-drive was too old to correctly read a CD-RW. I burned the file on a CD-R and it correctly loaded the files. Nevertheless, I leave this bug open because I think you should deactivate the cache in the kernel: Windows correctly handles CD-RW by retrying to read a file when it fails. Here it is impossible because files are in the cache (and the debian-installer retry option is thus useless...). Thanks
