OK, finally got this. I needed to tell it the
card was at PCI:01:05:00 rather than PCI:00:01:05.
Funny, I thought I had tried that before; maybe it
was before I gave it all that RAM.
Thanks for all your help. I'll be back in touch
about the ACPI and so on. BTW, when I installed
GRUB in my MBR, where did the Windows bootloader
go? If I were to delete my Linux partitions, would
I now be unable to boot Windows either? (I did
have the foresight to back up my bootsector into
a file in my Windows partition.)
