02/05 would fail to mount the filesystem after partitioning so the install could not continue.
With 09/05 I can get all the way to installing the base system when I get an error about there not being able to fine the kernel-install package.
With both versions I can't switch to any other virtual consoles. I have a newer 15" PowerBook G4 and I have been using the 'fn' key but fn-alt-F* doesn't do anything. Because of this I haven't really be able to fine out what is going on.
I'm waiting for a build tomorrow so I can see if anything has changed.
Also due to the fact this last CD wouldn't boot for some reason I had to use OpenFirmware and I noticed an error in the docs. In the file 'doc/install/manual/en/ch05s01.html' the location of yaboot was incorrect
It is listed as:
0 > boot cd:,\install\powermac\yaboot
When it should actually be, at least for my CD:
0 > boot cd:,\install\yaboot
