Package: debian-installer Severity: normal LS,
When installing Debian 3.0 using the debian installer-based floppies on an old Compaq server, the Compaq RAID controller was recognized, but the kernel module supporting it wasn't loaded by the installer. As workaround I switched to another console and did a 'modprobe cpqarray', but since the controller was on the list of devices found (in expert mode at least), I would have expected the kernel module to be loaded automatically. grtnx, Frederik Lindenaar -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.19 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
