I recently made a small change to bugreporter-udeb to increase its performance. It should not alter its behaviour, but who knows. If you make d-i test installs from unstable with bugreporter-udeb 0.26, can you pleaese look at /var/log/debian-installer/package-versions after the installation and tell us if this file looks sane - there should always be a package and its version listed on one line.
