Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite 1690CDT and I've had so many troubles with a PCMCIA Digicom Palladio Dongless ethernet card. To get it working with Woody it took me a long time. I tried almost every version of the installer so far at sometimes it was properly detected and installed and sometimes not; beta4 does not detect it. After the installer told me it couldn't detect an ethernet card I just unplugged it, re-plugged in and asked the installer to detect it.... It worked.
