Yes- I'm sure you're right - I suppose I was expecting some sort of prompt and by the time I realised that I needed to do some partitioning, I was someway into the installation. Being the first time I looked at the installer, I think I was expecting the same level of interaction as with the woody installer - not a criticism. I'll repeat with the next beta release and see how it goes - it is way slicker than the woody version ;)

Sounds fine - I have it normally set for 20 secs and then override on boot but I guess that's just a personal perference. When you're familiar with what's being presented then 5 secs is a long time; if it's all new to you, it flashes by and you think.... what? ;) Maybe I'm just slower than most ;) > > 2.
