Thanks
Under 2.4.26, I had to switch terminals and insert sata_via manually. Then, it recognized my SATA drives (as /dev/sd[01], IIRC). I didn't do a full install with 2.4. I could if it would be interesting. With the 2.6.5 kernel, it automatically recognized the drives as /dev/hd[eg]. Installation went as expected after that. > > Didn't configure to load module for ethernet. With the 2.6.5 install, the Ethernet came up just fine and I was able to connect to a Debian mirror. Thanks for the work. The new installer is quite nice. -- Greg Baker, Lecturer School of Computing Science Simon Fraser University Burnaby, BC, V5A 1S6 E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
