Package: base-config Severity: minor Tags: d-i When installing the packages after tasksel, I guess base-config calls apt or aptitude with some special arguments (no way to check currently) which results in lots of messages like "Sorry but xxxxx package is already using the last version" (I don't have the exact wording here).
These messages are harmless but could confuse users, however. I guess this pertains to base-config though I'm unsure. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.6-2-686 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (ignored: LC_ALL set to fr_FR.UTF-8) Versions of packages tasksel depends on: ii aptitude 0.2.15.2-1 curses-based apt frontend ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.29 Debian configuration management sy ii liblocale-gettext-perl 1.01-17 Using libc functions for internati -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
