Uhm, which syslog? The d-i one? The box has been installed with woody
installer by now. But I could ask my friend to run the installer again
tocopy some files... Is that what you are asking?
Does d-i have a ssh server or something like that? Because if it
doesn't, then it's kind of hard to send the syslog, since it's
impossible to partition the harddrive.
