Package: exim4 Severity: wishlist The screen which allows choosing the type of configuration is the only one shown during a default Debian Installer base system install.
It comes immediately after other d-i screen and the current wording does not make obvious that this screen is about configuring the mail system. I suggest rewirting "Configuring Exim v4 (exim4-config)" to something more general such as "Mail server (Exim4) configuration" or even "Mail Server configuration" The first paragraph should maybe mention something like "Select the mail server configuration type that best fits your needs". These quite minor changes would make a better integration of the Exim configuration step into Debian Installer I'm also wondering whether the exim4/dc_eximconfig_configtype could be "high" priority only. After all, the default "no configuration" does not break the system....This would save one question on "critical" priority installs, which will be anyway used in very special cases, where full automation and less user interaction is very important. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.7-1-686 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (ignored: LC_ALL set to fr_FR.UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
