That's really good tool, especially because X configuration doesn't provide kbd configuration with high priority :-) BTW, I saw you added 'apt-install localization-config' into languagechooser, but... it won't work. localization-config depends: debconf, perl, libapt-pkg-perl, libconfig-inifiles-perl, locales But perl, libapt-pkg-perl and libconfig-inifiles-perl aren't ready on 2nd stage. (IMHO apt-install them is bad idea because perl-base is already installed.) Konstantinos, it's sad but it looks need to rewrite to use only a few base packages. And if this problem is solved, you need to add localization-config into list of debian-cd for CD1/netinst includes this package.
