Or just make largefile4 incompatible with /var. Using these settings with /var seems a bit "silly" (no offense intended, I know you were just testing all possible combinations). largefile4 is, IIRC, well adapted for file systems hosting very few files which may be very large (some Oracle database are very good at this...:-)).
