Try reading the installation manual [1] ;-) [1] http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/ It will tell you to try booting with 'hw-detect/start_pcmcia=false' (which will disable PCMCIA altogether) or to exclude some resources from the probes. See paragraph 5.1.7 of the manual for further info.
