nobootloader should not give instructions for booting from CD if they're
incorrect. Since we have to load an initrd to boot debian on i386,
booting from CD is not really possible.

Hi all,
I just come to try to install sarge from testing Net install CD.=20
Everything is fine, but I don't want to install GRUB or LILO. So, I'm=20
arrived. After installation, it explain me that I need to enter=20
root=3D/dev/hda6 in options when starting.
Rebooting to the CD, I enter linux26 root=3D/dev/hda6 and the result is
VFS: Cannot open root device "hda6" or unknow-block(0,0)
Please append a correct "root=3D" boot option
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknow-block(0,0)
Same think with linux, expert, expert26, with ext2 and ext3 file system.=20
And same with root=3D306.
I'm able to boot with the woody net install CD, but it's an old kernel=20
and my network card is not activated, so, I'm not able to continue the=20
installation.
This is for suggest you to add a "rescue" option...
Ask me for more information.
