Package: rootskel Followup-For: Bug #273378
I confirm that this patch indeed works on amiga/apus/powerpc. Furthermore, i believe that all the cases where the framebuffer option is needed are those where the framebuffer device is planar orotherwise known not to work on bogl. Until bogl is fixed for these cases (Simon Richter said heis working on it), a workaround would be to check /proc/fb for the current fbdev used (not sure, but probably the first there ?) and match it again a list of known framebuffer device (amifb, tgafb, ...) which needs the framebuffer=false option, so the user doesn't need to type it.
