The 32MB install using 2.6 does work now, with the exception that an additional reboot is needed before the package installation is done. The additional reboot is needed because the normal reboot is stopped, showing these errors: Unable to handle NULL pointer dereference at initial address 0000000c <skip about 10 lines> <6>note: mount[187] exited with preempt_ count 1 After stopping at that error, and initiating another reboot, the install proceeds normally. I would be happy to provide any further information or testing that you request. Please note however, that the machine does have 48MB of RAM available, so I'm as happy as could be with the installer as is :). Just as additional trivia, the machine does seem to respond better (faster) to 2.6 than 2.4, which is a nice bonus. Sorry for not testing this sooner, I noticed you were doing some lowmem work and had intended to test prior to recieveing the bug closed report. -- Doug Jensen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
