This it almost definately NOT correct. Assuming that it was ISO 8859-1 is wrong, and if it was already UTF-8, disabling it is plain unacceptable. And console is in UTF-8 in other cases except Greek. I am looking into this myself, but I don't want to make it impossible for others to use the console. Assumptions like the ones you made are not good. Konstantinos
