Comments/Problems:

<Description of the install, in prose, and any thoughts, comments
and ideas you had during the initial install.>
Quite nice install process. I was surprised, since my last trial with a netinst cd and a
business card cd, which didn't succeeded in the same machine (install process hanged).

For this time I chose expert26. Partitioning: full control. The machine has a working suse 9.1 also,
and I needed to install Lilo in /dev/hdb6 (choosen location for Sarge), as to not mess with suse's
grub in /dev/hda1.

The partition tool was used only to choose / as /dev/hdb6 and swap. I didn't partition anything
beyond that. Formatted / with raiser.

Everything works great. I didn't edit grub's menu.lst, to load Debian, as I use smart boot manager
(from floppy) to load both.

- The config network error above is about my second eth card. Its not exactly an error. The machine
nat's internet for another win machine and this setup wasn't done/asked. No problem doing it by hand,
but why not include it in the setup?

- The tv/radio card has a few issues: The way d-i installed it, I can't switch channels (no tuner module
loaded, I guess...). Perhaps you might want to include steps for choosing which tv card is in the machine
(cardlist), which tuner and whether it has radio or not. In my previous Debian install, I modprobed
the card with:
modprobe bttv card=37 radio=1
modprobe tuner type=2

These are the relevant dmesg lines (Please notice the kernel has been upgraded to 2.6.8-1-k7, no more *-i386):

frank:/home/bruno# dmesg |grep bttv

Temp/fan sensors:

d-i didn't install/load modules for my sensors by default, it seems. If I do:
sensors
I get a
No sensors found!

Then, I do:
modprobe i2c-isa
modprobe via686a

I get:

Athlon cooling: How about installing some Athlon cooling software? Athcool runs fine here.

After all installs, I apt-getted X and kde. Its running quite ok.

Install logs and other status info is available in /var/log/debian-installer/.
