Mmm, nogo on the xgi card, since 2.6.16/17 have the sisfb framebuffer device not builtin, but modular.
Is there some place where we can do some kind of framebuffer device detection, and loading of the appropriate modules ? Where is it done for vesafb, which if i am not wrong, is modular on x86 ?
